Introduction

WEX administers health benefit accounts for thousands of employers and millions of consumers across the United States. The WEX Health & Benefits API exposes core platform capabilities as RESTful endpoints - giving your engineering team programmatic access to consumer profiles, benefit plan structures, enrollments, elections, account balances, and card data.

The API is designed for WEX business partners: benefits administration platforms, HRIS vendors, payroll providers, and employer portals that need to surface real-time benefits data in their own products without building or maintaining the underlying account administration layer.
